Description Job Summary: Material Handler is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within the production floor. This role supports production and shipping by staging materials, cleaning plastic equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory through daily audits and record keeping. This position requires the operation of various forklifts and other material moving equipment. Hours: Monday - Thursday: 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately receive, label, and store materials within the designated warehouse locations Accurately retrieve and deliver material to the production work centers Maintain accurate inventory records using proper warehouse management systems (daily worksheets, material cards, and ERP system (JOBBOSS)) Identify, report, and resolve, inventory discrepancies Identify and report non-conforming materials to proper personnel Safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Perform scheduled inventory audits Daily cleaning of plastisol tanks and dipping equipment Routine cleaning of pump & drainage stations Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and necessary action or communications made for equipment to be kept in good repair Communicate effectively with supervisors, production, and shipping departments Load and unload trucks while following proper material handling procedures Requirements Minimum Requirements: Must consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic, including initiative, accountability, and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy. Must demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production flow and team coordination. High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling a plus Experience or certification with forklift and other material handling equipment preferred Basic math and computer skills are preferred and prior experience with inventory systems a plus
