Responsibilities: Serve as a coach, trainer, and leader of a skilled team of 6-8 people encompassing Manufacturing and Packaging operations. Ensure we meet customer needs and maintain a high level of service. Manage operations in compliance with company's policies and vision. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. Adhere to all packaging, handling, manufacturing, and shipping legislation requirements. Perform other related duties as required. Physical Requirements: This is a manufacturing plant environment. Exposure to high temperatures, moving machinery, moving equipment, heights and confined spaces. Strong oral and written communication skills. Safely maneuver pushcarts and hand trucks. Safe operation of powered lift equipment. Climbing ladders. Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload. Lift 20-30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to use basic math. Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel, and comfort working with computer systems. Qualifications Key Qualifications: Proven experience as a successful leader, preferably within prior distribution, packaging, or manufacturing operations. Prior experience with setting and following production schedules (or scheduling rules). Excellent organizational, time management and problem resolution skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and follow up with stakeholders on completion of tasks. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and/or environment.
