Description Position Summary The Palletizer is responsible for accurately packaging, labeling, and moving finished product. This role ensures pallets are properly prepared and transported to the cooler within required timelines while maintaining quality, safety, and inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities Remove completed pallets from the palletizing line using a forklift Label, wrap, and prepare pallets using shrink-wrapping equipment Transport wrapped pallets to the cooler within USDA-required timelines Coordinate with grader operators to track daily pallet counts Hand stack and label pallets not handled by the palletizing robot Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot palletizing robots as needed Print, verify, and apply labels and pallet tags for shipment accuracy Verify inventory accuracy and report discrepancies Follow updated processes and procedures during production runs Perform other duties as assigned Maintain a clean and safe work area by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety procedures, and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Qualifications Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely and effectively Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or processing environment Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard procedures Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Resumen del Puesto: El Paletizador es responsable de empacar, etiquetar y mover con precisión el producto terminado. Este puesto garantiza que las tarimas se preparen correctamente y se transporten al área de refrigeración dentro de los tiempos establecidos, manteniendo la calidad, seguridad y exactitud del inventario. Responsabilidades Principales: Retirar tarimas terminadas de la línea de paletizado utilizando montacargas Etiquetar, envolver y preparar tarimas usando equipo de emplayado (shrink wrap) Transportar las tarimas envueltas al área de refrigeración dentro de los tiempos requeridos por el USDA Coordinar con los operadores de clasificación (grader) para dar seguimiento al conteo diario de tarimas Apilar y etiquetar manualmente tarimas que no sean manejadas por el robot paletizador Operar, monitorear y dar soporte a los robots de paletizado cuando sea necesario Imprimir, verificar y aplicar etiquetas y etiquetas de tarima para asegurar la precisión del envío Verificar la exactitud del inventario y reportar cualquier discrepancia Seguir procesos y procedimientos actualizados durante las corridas de producción Realizar otras funciones según se asignen Mantener un área de trabajo limpia y segura siguiendo las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (GMP), los procedimientos de seguridad y utilizando el Equipo de Protección Personal (PPE) requerido Calificaciones: Capacidad para operar un montacargas y/o patín hidráulico de manera segura y eficiente Experiencia en un entorno de manufactura o procesamiento de ritmo acelerado Capacidad para seguir instrucciones detalladas y procedimientos estándar Conocimientos básicos de mecánica y habilidades de resolución de problemas Fuertes habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para trabajar en equipo
