Description Responsible for the proper polishing of the various parts. Employee deburrs by using hand grinders, polishers, and occasionally vibrating tumblers, operated large swing grinders to grind and polish large parts. Parts normally weigh a few ounces up to 20lbs each. The employee performs quality checks of each finished parts. Job is under dusty environment. Grind and polish parts Read work orders and prints Maintain and promote safety Maintain proper condition of equipment Perform quality checks and appearance checks of the finished unit or part Perform all other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent experience Proficient reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, and bills of material Excellent communication skills Able to work with others in a team environment Able to lift 50LB, bend, stoop, twist, walk, and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

The operator is responsible for the proper polishing and deburring of various parts using hand grinders, polishers, tumblers, and large swing grinders. This includes performing quality checks on all finished parts while working in a dusty environment.
