What You’ll Bring: Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and engage team members Strong employee relations skills and a people-first mindset Persuasive, confident communication that drives action Extensive experience in manufacturing leadership roles A track record of improving retention and strengthening team performance Requirements Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Our front-line leaders are on the floor 80%+ part of the time to ensure team members are achieving daily goals. Overseeing and managing line stops, safety violations/accidents and chronic quality defects. Problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships. Interviewing, hiring, and training direct reports; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching and implementing corrective actions. Managing company policies through effective communications, coaching, training, and development. Meet targets in cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time performance. Prepare schedules, approve timecards, assign and oversee work. Managing department capacity and man-hours. Ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations. Requirements What qualities will you need to succeed here? Glass industry experience preferred 2-3 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred Solid leadership, technical skills and decision making The ability to train, coach, mentor, and motivate employees Adaptable to change and growth Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time Capable of working extended workdays Ability to lift over 75 lbs.
