Position Description:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership to coach, support, and develop a production team in a fast-paced, frozen food manufacturing environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in food manufacturing or frozen food production.
Strong understanding of food safety practices, HACCP, GMPs, and OSHA regulations.
Ability to work in cold environments and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Experience with production KPIs, basic computer skills, and inventory or ERP systems preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and work in a cold (freezer) environment for extended periods.
Must be able to wear PPE and follow all safety procedures.

Supervise, lead, and coordinate daily activities of production line employees.
Ensure production targets are met with respect to safety, quality, yield, and efficiency.
Monitor and enforce adherence to GMPs, food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and company policies.
Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics teams to resolve issues quickly.
Complete daily production reporting, timekeeping, and shift handoff documentation accurately.
Conduct pre-shift meetings and safety talks; foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure proper skill development and cross-training.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
Ensure proper use and care of equipment and that downtime is minimized.
Support plant audits, inspections, and other regulatory requirements (e.g., USDA, FDA)
Conducts Safety Gemba Walks with Management
