Description Description Stable, established and growing company currently has an opening in our Reno, NV manufacturing plant for a 2nd shift lead/supervisor. We are looking for a dependable and self-motivated individual, who has prior supervision skills in a team lead or supervisor position. Previous manufacturing or production environment experience is preferred. Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus. Responsibilities: •Help ensure shift compliance with all safety, quality and production goals, as well as, identify cost saving opportunities. •Communicate specifications and job orders to workers and monitor job performance •May assist in the training, appraising, coaching and providing disciplinary action for workforce. •Perform activities of workers supervised. •Help facilitate resolutions of work problems •Perform simple machine and equipment repairs •Other duties as needed Requirements Requirements •High school diploma or general education (GED) •Proven team leader •Mechanically inclined •Excellent problem-solving skills •Ability to bend and stand for extended periods of time •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Familiarity with computers •At least 4 years manufacturing experience •2 years prior supervision experience Preferred · Associate or bachelor’s Degree · Lean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow/Green) · 6’S experience · Epicor experience · CI knowledge
