Description
General Purpose Perform a variety of routine activities to support the operations team. Job Duties and Responsibilities * Input production data into spreadsheets, databases, and/or systems * Maintain production reports, files, and other documents * Assist in the preparation of reports on volume of production, quality control, product yields, and other aspects of production * Organize daily paperwork such as palletizer reports, downtime sheets, operator logs, and put-up sheets * Compile necessary data from paperwork and produce daily production reports * Inspect data for discrepancies and notify supervisor * Write and send out production recap emails to appropriate managers and supervisors * Provide support to or back up roles in quality support, inventory, accounting, etc. * Help to maintain accurate reconciliation of finished product inventories * Prepare and compile necessary information for requested audits * Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues * Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all company regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements * The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required Education and Experience * High school diploma or equivalent * 0 to 1 year of operations, administrative, or related experience * Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Able to use company computer systems * Able to operate office machines including a calculator, scanner, copy machine, facsimile * Able to work with accuracy and detail oriented * Able to follow directions and meet deadlines * Able to complete basic arithmetic, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions * Must be able to read, write and speak English Qualifications An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
