Responsibilities

Uphold all safety practices to prevent injury from unsafe work practices and/or conditions.
Ensure quality department is following all KORE requirements, ISO-9001, ISO-14001, OSHAS-18001 and FSSC-22000 requirements and all Federal/State regulatory requirements for beverage processing.
Monitor adherence to all required work instructions, work aids and forms that pertain to Quality, Environment, Safety and Food Safety including training verifications.
Oversee the daily monitoring of plant sanitation and personal hygiene as outlined by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Monitor proficiency of laboratory personnel and provide feedback to improve the knowledge base of the department. Provide coaching to improve competency and quality of work.
Lead and initiate the troubleshooting of systems, equipment and processes which affect overall quality and food safety of product.
Work closely with plant wide supervisors to achieve overall goals and objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned
