Built as a family business, Nordic Ice partners with each of its clients to create custom solutions that meet and exceed expectations for temperature-controlled packaging and manufacturing. We are looking for dependable Quality Technicians to join our Louisville, KY manufacturing facility on 2nd shift. General Responsibilities: Responsible for sampling in-process products, incoming components and finished goods using the guidelines established in standard operating procedures. Participate in quality meetings on a periodic basis to build and maintain the quality program. Maintain quality records pertaining to training, compliance, corrective actions etc. related to the facility. Responsible for overseeing the quarantine area and ensuring Hold Tags are placed on non-conforming product. Data entry related to production and quality as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications and Education Requirements Highschool graduate or equivalent Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Ability to operate lab equipment and maintain accurate records Self-directed requiring limited supervision Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with coworkers and management Able to read measurements Preferred Skills Previous experience in manufacturing environment Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
