Job Summary: Responsible for sandblasting surfaces to remove old paint, rust, and oher debris. Assists in shop activities by performing the following duties. Essential Functions: * Preparing parts for paint, masking, cleaning, and hanging on rack. * Finishing operations and packaging, paint touch up, part marking, etc. * Must have some experience with Sandblasting outside. * Removes burrs or excess metal from machined parts. * Support manual assembly operations. * Assigned to various 5S activities as required. * Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization. * Maintain high level of housekeeping in the work area, including 5S. * Adherence to all company policies, procedures, external regulations and legal requirements. * Other duties as directed by management. Minimum Qualifications: * Strong understanding of job-related techniques, tools, and materials. * Ability to apply sound judgment to perform duties safely and effectively. * Dependable attendance and punctuality. * Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude; ability to accept and apply constructive feedback. * Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with supervisors. * Knowledge of and adherence to company quality and environmental policies, including AS9100 and ISO 14001 standards. * Commitment to following safety procedures, security protocols, and use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Education & Experience * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Previous relevant experience in a manufacturing, technical, or production environment preferred. Background Prerequisites: Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO 14001 certified environment. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities. * Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard documentation or reporting tools. * Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and process efficiency.
