Your success is what's next with Custom Truck One Source. Summary This individual will prep heavy equipment and parts for paint. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces, per specifications, prior to painting * Clean all surfaces to ensure proper adherence * Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection * Fill cracks, holes, and joints per specifications * Erect scaffolding, movable, and immovable staging and various rigging to gain access to difficult areas * Work on ladders to reach top of tall equipment * Tape off areas when needed * Clean up all equipment Required Skills and Qualifications * Must be able to troubleshoot problems * Candidate must work well with others * Requires strong attention to detail in department processes and procedures * Requires the ability to comprehend and follow written work instructions * Possess knowledge of and ability to identify fabrication industry metals * Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continual improvement.
