SHIPPING CLERK – DISTRIBUTION DEPARTMENT Pay Range: $17–$22 per hour Schedule: Flexible availability required Training Hours: 2PM-10PM Location: On-site (Office & Warehouse Floor) POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping Clerk to support our shipping operations. This role plays a key part in coordinating daily shipping activities by working closely with o drivers and company operators to ensure trailers are loaded efficiently and accurately. This is primarily an office-based role, but the position requires regular time on the warehouse floor to communicate directly with drivers and employees. The ideal candidate is comfortable in both environments, adaptable to changing priorities, and eager to learn and grow within the shipping team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordinate with incoming and outgoing drivers on where to report and which doors to load * Communicate with company forklift drivers regarding load assignments and dock priorities * Monitor and track trailer movements, loads, and shipping documentation * Use computer systems to enter, update, and maintain shipping and inventory-related information * Support daily shipping schedules and adjust as needed to meet operational demands * Maintain clear communication between the office and warehouse floor * Follow all safety and company procedures QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS * Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly * Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or inventory is a plus but not required * Flexible availability and willingness to work varying hours as needed * Comfortable working in both an office setting and on the warehouse floor * Reliable, punctual, and able to take initiative * Strong communication skills and attention to detail * Desire to learn, grow, and add long-term value to the shipping team WHAT WE OFFER * Competitive pay based on experience * Hands-on training and support * Opportunity for growth within the shipping and logistics team * Team-oriented, fast-paced work environment If you’re organized, dependable, and looking to build a career in shipping and logistics, we encourage you to apply.
