Job description: Overview Join our dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Shipping Supervisor and lead the charge in ensuring seamless warehouse distribution operations during the evening hours. In this energetic role, you will oversee shipping activities, manage inventory control processes, and drive process improvements to optimize efficiency. Hours: 2PM-11:30PM MUST HAVE 3+ years forklift operating experience & 3+ leadership experience Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate all shipping in warehouse distribution activities during the 2nd shift * Lead team management efforts by training, mentoring, and motivating warehouse staff to achieve high performance standards * Oversee materials handling operations, including heavy lifting, forklift operation, and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure safety and efficiency * Implement process improvements related to logistics workflows, inventory control, and warehouse management practices * Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse activities * Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, inbound/outbound logs, incident reports, and inventory records Qualifications * Proven experience in warehouse supervision with a focus on shipping operations. * Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, and logistics principles * Hands-on experience operating forklifts and familiarity with materials handling equipment * Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus * Ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and process improvement initiatives Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
