As a Class A Driver for UNIS Transportation, the primary responsibility of the role is to handle local transportation, moving goods between distribution sites located just a few miles apart. This is a Monday through Friday, 2nd shift start 2:00pm - 10:30pm. Valid Class A CDL and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record. Meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation and possess a valid DOT Medical card. No DUI’s or major driving violations. Satisfactorily pass a drug and alcohol test. Willing to submit a background check and provide employment recommendations. Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is handling local transportation, moving goods between distribution sites that are only a few miles apart for the LTL & FTL Division. This role operates on a Monday through Friday, 2nd shift schedule starting at 2:00 PM.
