Description The Operations Team Lead I oversees daily warehouse operations for an assigned shift or functional area, ensuring tasks are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently while supporting workflow, training staff, and maintaining communication across teams. Requirements Key Responsibilities · Assign daily tasks and adjust labor to meet operational targets. · Monitor workflow, address bottlenecks, and ensure timely completion. · Train and coach associates to maintain high performance. · Enforce safety policies and proper equipment use. · Verify accuracy of shipments and maintain documentation. · Serve as communication point between associates, supervisors, and routing teams. · Generate required reports and escalate issues when needed. Required Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent. · 1–2 years of warehouse/distribution experience; leadership experience preferred. · Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and WMS systems. · Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, influence, and resolve conflicts. · Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and peak-period overtime as business needs dictate. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) · Coursework or certifications in logistics, warehouse operations, or leadership. · 2+ years of warehouse/distribution experience. Work Environment Warehouse · Tolerance for varying temperatures. · Exposure to dust, noise, forklifts, and moving machinery.
