THERMAL DEBURRING OPERATOR Position Purpose: Responsible daily operations of our thermal deburring processing. Essential Functions: * Schedule jobs for thermal deburring * Accurately follow posted work instructions * Visually inspect parts * Test and maintain correct water and soap amounts * Drive a forklift * Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Education and Training: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum Qualifications: * No prior experience or training. * Basic computer skills required Physical Demands: * Continually required to stand * Frequently required to walk * Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity * Frequently required to bend, stoop, or kneel * Occasionally required to talk or hear * Frequently work near moving mechanical parts * While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate * The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 50 pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds / continually lift and/or move up to 5 pounds * Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Color vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus * Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Thermal Deburring machine, Parts Washer, Forklift, and Computer Environmental Conditions: * Warehouse setting Behavioral Traits: * Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. * Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time. * Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. * Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values; Benefits organization through outside activities; Supports affirmative action and respects diversity. * Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans. * Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
