Description Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building Materials company, is seeking an experienced Truss Department Associate on our 2nd shift. Under direct supervision the qualified candidate will perform a variety of yard activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive and review job list, created by the truss department, and map for efficiency. Visit each job site, take pictures to send back to the truss department, with a written note on the status of the job. Review materials loaded against invoice or requisition; complete and route paperwork appropriately Move product/material throughout the yard ensuring placement in correct areas All other duties as assigned Experience Required: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and six months experience with performing these or similar tasks; or equivalent combination of training, education and experience Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of various types of lumber Knowledge of safety procedures while performing tasks Strong customer service skills Knowledge of company products/inventory available at work location Ability to read and understand invoices and requisitions Benefits: Tibbetts Lumber offers an excellent benefits package to our employees including: Competitive wages Medical insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Short & Long Term Disability 401(k) plan Vacation, Sick & Holiday pay Health Savings Account Legal Disclosures: Tibbetts Lumber Co. Responsibilities
The associate is responsible for reviewing job lists, visiting sites to document status, and managing the movement of materials within the yard. They must ensure materials are loaded correctly against invoices and route paperwork appropriately.
