This role requires keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks during the second shift hours. Responsibilities: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Maintain order and protect property during the second shift. Respond to emergencies and provide necessary assistance as required. Communicate effectively with other security personnel and report any suspicious activities promptly. Required Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and remain calm in emergency situations. Basic computer knowledge to complete reports. Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours, including weekends and holidays.
