THE POSITION:

We are seeking a 2nd Year Apprentice Welder/Fabricator with expertise in aluminum welding to join our team for a 6 week contract with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our fabrication process, ensuring the highest quality and precision in aluminum welding projects.

• Perform daily welding tasks using industry leading techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Inspect and assess materials for quality and safety.
• Operate and maintain equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Comply with workplace health and safety policies (WHMIS, OH&S, WCB, and Company procedures)
• Other duties as assigned.
  The Qualifications and Requirements:
• 1+ year experience with a specialization in aluminum welding considered an asset.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting welding blueprints and specifications.
• Skilled in the use and maintenance of welding equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team.
• Excellent attendance and work record.
• Positive attitude
