QUALIFICATIONS

  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • Good computer skills in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in customer service
Responsibilities
  • Advise customers of delays, i.e. weather delays
  • Review, investigate, report, and take appropriate action concerning OS&D
  • Investigate and/or advise the customer regarding OS&D shipments/undeliverable shipments
  • Complete all OSD operations
  • Investigate reported OS&D shipments across Canada
  • Check the computer for information and/or special shipment instructions.
  • Coordinate all appointment deliveries with the customer to ensure the requested appointment makes deliveries
  • Book appointments for freight that requires appointment deliveries
  • Enter all appointment dates and times for each shipment that is booked for tracking purposes
  • Trace shipments
  • Provide verbal PODs
  • Coordinate specials or same days
  • Maintain designated customer accounts
  • Knowledge of designated accounts, i.e. Product, customer expectations
  • Enter pick-ups via email and phone calls
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone calls within a 20-minute turnaround time
  • Check messages left in the CS mailbox and return clients’ calls
  • Any additional duties as required
