Description
About the Role We are building the Enterprise Intelligence Hub — a new automation, integration, and AI-enabled platform that will streamline how NUS Enterprise operates across multiple pillars. This is a hands-on technical builder role. It is not a traditional IT or project management position. You will define technical direction, co-create solutions with vendors, write Python workflows and connectors when needed, and guide the evolution of automation systems as we build this new capability from scratch. The focus is on architecture, problem-solving, and technical judgment — not coding full-time. What You Will Do Shape the technical design and architecture of the Enterprise Intelligence Hub. Build Python scripts, services, and connectors (targeted coding, not full-stack product development). Lead integration design across n8n, Monday.com, Submittable, Workable, Xero, Azure, and other platforms. Work closely with external automation vendors while retaining internal ownership of system logic and design. Prototype new tools, AI workflows, and automation ideas. Establish workflow governance, coding standards, versioning, and testing practices. Troubleshoot complex integration issues and improve reliability. Provide technical guidance to junior contributors and ensure coherence in system design. What You Bring 4–7 years experience in automation, backend, systems, or integration-focused roles. Strong Python skills — APIs, automation scripts, data handling, small services. Experience integrating systems through APIs and webhooks. Comfortable working in ambiguous, evolving environments. Able to engage vendors, challenge assumptions, and drive technical decisions. Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to explore new tools. Interest in AI tools, workflow orchestration, and modern automation stacks. What This Role Is Not Not a project management or coordination role. Not a supervisory or administrative role. Not a pure coding/software engineering role. Not a vendor-dependent implementation role. Why This Role Is Unique Shape a new automation and intelligence capability for NUS Enterprise. Set foundational architecture and influence long-term system direction. High-autonomy role suited for builders who enjoy co-creating solutions. Build practical, modern systems using a startup-like, experimental mindset. Why Join Us? You’ll be part of a lean, ambitious team shaping how NUS Enterprise connects data and intelligence. Whether you’re an experienced engineer or an emerging builder, if you’re driven by curiosity and the desire to keep learning, this is where you’ll thrive. Send your resume to our Job Mailbox: AA6BCF2D8E@jobs.workablemail.com. No cover letter required—but we’d love to know what drives you, and what you’re excited to build next. Please be informed that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
