Description

As a QA Automation Tester, you will be part of the Testing Centre of Excellence within Asset & Wealth Management Operations. You will play a critical role in systematically testing application functionality, preparing for go-live phases, and driving automation initiatives to strengthen quality assurance across global teams. What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed User Acceptance Testing Perform regression and functional UAT for systems supporting AWM business processes. Assist in parallel runs to validate new system results against existing systems. Document UAT scenarios, test cases, and test scripts with precision. Define and prepare test data to support execution. Identify and analyse defects, collaborating with operations teams to ensure timely resolution and high-quality delivery. Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting on testing results. Keep documentation updated to reflect current processes and systems. Automation Testing Automate regression and functional test cases using Java, Selenium, and BDD Cucumber. Collaborate closely with technology teams to implement BDD practices. Conduct automation feasibility studies and derive ROI for automation initiatives. Develop automation frameworks using core Java and maintain keyword, data, and hybrid frameworks. Manage test data using SQL and deliver clear reporting on automation outcomes. We'd Love to Hear From You If... Experience You have prior experience in a test or technical support environment. You have relevant experience in test automation and successful project delivery. Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of Java, Selenium, and Cucumber. Skilled in BDD and TDD methodologies. Proficient in version control tools such as Bitbucket and Git. Knowledge of automation tools and test design tools such as Conformiq is an advantage. Experienced in automation framework development and maintenance. Familiar with SQL for test data management. Knowledge of Agile practices and API testing. Ways of Working Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly in defect analysis and reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task across different applications in a release. Effective time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Collaborative approach with a track record of successful teamwork.
