JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician with expertise in high voltage aerial and underground electrical systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our electrical infrastructure.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Valid 309A Journeyman Electrician license in Ontario, Canada
• Proven experience with linework and high voltage electrical systems.
• Extensive experience with underground electrical installations and repairs.
• Additional certifications or training in high voltage or underground electrical systems is an asset.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A Valid ‘G’ driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• A valid DZ license with clean abstract is required.
• Clean drivers abstract.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Journeyman Electrician who would like to be a part of a dynamic team who is looking to continue to grow and meet our clients needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical tasks including installation, maintenance, and repairs in commercial, Industrial and Agriculture settings. This is a full-time position based in Ontario, Canada.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Valid 309A Journeyman Electrician license in Ontario, Canada
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Journeyman Electrician in Industrial, Commercial and Agriculture industries.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid ‘G’ driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Clean drivers abstract.

Experience:

• Journeyman Electrician: 3 years (required)
• Aerial High Voltage Line work: 3 years (preferred)
• Underground electrical installation: 3 years (preferred

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Perform underground electrical installations and repair work.
• Perform aerial/pole line high voltage work.
• Install, maintain, and repair high voltage electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes and standards.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment according to local electrical codes and standards.
• Conduct inspections, diagnose electrical problems, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
