JOB DESCRIPTION

Our member company, Journey Electric, is seeking a skilled and motivated 309A Journeyperson Electrician to join their team in Collingwood, ON. The ideal candidate is not only highly proficient in electrical work but also an excellent communicator, organized, and capable of leading a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial, and residential projects.
  • Lead and supervise a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
  • Plan, organize, and execute electrical projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide professional advice and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on projects.

Qualifications:

  • 309A Journeyman Electrician certification (mandatory).
  • Proven experience in commercial, industrial, and residential electrical work.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
