J E Culp Transport is a full service shop. We are looking for a new afternoon shift supervisor to oversee, guide and teach a crew of apprentices and technicians. We are looking for an experienced technician to take over the roll. The schedule is Monday to Friday 2:30pm to 11:30pm. The qualified candidate would bring technical experience as well as management experience to compliment our quality truck and trailer technicians. DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for scheduling and managing the inspection and repair of fleet equipment
• Lead the maintenance team and assist shop supervisors with daily activities for maintenance personnel
• Assist in motivating, development training and monitoring the performance of all maintenance staff
• Coordinate and monitor department repair and employee work schedules
• Minimize costs while assuring the highest quality, safety and productivity
• Knowledge of safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists, and jacking equipment
• Adhere to manufacturer’s warranty policies and procedures and company policies and procedures
• Ensure timely and quality maintenance and repairs on all units
• Respond to fleet service calls, pick up and deliver vehicles.
• Maintain tools and equipment to company standards
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and minimize/eliminate personnel injuries and vehicle incidents

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION

Must have a minimum of 5 years of truck repair experience

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to use and read computer diagnostic codes
• 310T License
• Good Work Ethic
• Positive Attitude
