This 310T Field Mechanic Position Features:

• Great Pay from $93K to $104K

This is a full-time on-site role for a 310T Shop/ Field Service Technician located in Mississauga, ON. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of municipal vehicles, including buses, fire trucks, street sweepers, and refuse trucks. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing scheduled and emergency repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and performing fleet upgrades. The technician will also communicate with customers on service updates and maintain detailed service records.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, High Voltage Systems, Cummins Engines, After treatment and electrical diagnostics, MTO inspections, repairs, and maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with municipal vehicles
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed service records and reporting
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and on-site
• Previous experience with fleet management or municipal vehicle maintenance is a plus
• Relevant technical certifications and training
