As a 310T License Tecnician at Joseph Transportation Group - Agriculture Division, your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Diagnose and repair units brought into the shop.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs in order to ensure the safe continuing operations of tractors and trailers.
  • Assist in preparing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation, through work order software
  • Ensure all shop tools are used and stored properly
  • Record parts and equipment utilized on the repair order and ensure the Service Coordinator is aware of stock taken.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other mechanical repair work as required

We are looking for a person that has the knowledge and skill set to complete the above duties, along with the following requirements:

  • Valid Mechanics license 310T
  • Minimum one year’s experience as a Mechanic in the transportation industry
  • Possess valid G driver’s license (A or D will be considered an asset)
  • Proven mechanical abilities in gas and diesel automotive repairs
  • Knowledge PACCAR, Cummins and their related diagnostics is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to record information into our work order software
  • Flexibility in hours and shifts is an asset not a necessity
