Description

Position: 310T Truck and Coach Technician
Location: Cambridge, ON
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Time :8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $40–$46 an hour
One of our clients is looking for a 310T Truck and Coach Technician The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in a related field (e.g. automotive technology) an asset
  • 1-3 years of experience as a heavy-duty truck technician or equivalent experience in the industry
  • Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician
  • Valid G class driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Must have necessary hand tools.
  • Able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, safeties and repairs on heavy-duty trucks including diesel
  • engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Use manufacturer’s service manuals and technical data to repair and maintain vehicles
  • Communicate with customers to explain work needed
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines and minimize downtime
  • Attend company sponsored training classes and dealer specific training courses as
  • scheduled by management
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve processes and reduce waste
