POSITION SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for the internal and external communications for the property. This person is proficient in digital literacy and software programs and will be responsible for ensuring the website and social media accounts are up to date for all properties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and maintains the websites, social media campaigns, mobile app and other digitally produced material.
• Ensures proper and timely uploading and scheduling of digital advertising on our internal signage.
• Ensures proper and timely uploading of digital files to our external highway signs.
• Builds awareness of our brand in all digital and media outlets.
• Writes in-house on-hold PA announcements.
• Keeps abreast of online trends and emerging technologies.
• Recommends target audiences and propose ways of communicating the information to them.
• Reports monthly to the Marketing Director; the statistics from the digital outlets and ways to improve our digital footprint and interaction with our current guests and the general public.
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner.
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
