Description

Scotfast operates across the UK, carrying out large scale fencing, forestry and civil projects. Due to expansion, we are looking to employ hardworking, motivated individuals, with a strong work ethic to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for performing all aspects of an excavator operator’s duties across multiple sites.

Duties include:

  • Driving a 360 tracked excavator. Size range from 10T to 20T
  • Moving material around the site and load materials on to trailers/vehicles.
  • Read job cards, recognise material descriptions, and keep accurate counts for team leaders/managers.
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance.
  • Take direction from managers, supervisors and team leaders. Be capable of following instructions.
  • Assist your team with carrying out tasks for that day. Showing a willingness to learn and take control of designated tasks.
  • Ideally, be able to operate various additional types of equipment and machinery.
  • Clean up and prepare the digger for the following work day/week.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding safety, operational procedures and quality.
  • Completing all training requirements.
  • Working away from home on projects on a weekly basis with paid accommodation and a daily stay away allowance.

SKILLS REQUIRED INCLUDE:

  • At least 1 year of experience as an excavator driver is preferred.
  • A valid, in date CPCS or NPORS (or similar) is required.
    Development opportunities are available for anyone who works hard, shows leadership qualities, and has the capacity to take on additional responsibilities.
