We are a 3D animation team based in Markham, dedicated to creating high-quality, engaging, and educational content for children aged 3-8.
Our current project focuses on delivering meaningful and interactive experiences, combining storytelling with playful animations and games to captivate and educate the next generation.
We are looking for a talented 3D Animator to join our creative team and help bring our educational vision to life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of Autodesk Maya, expertise in hand-keyed animations, and the ability to collaborate closely with our Director and production team. Join us in making a lasting impact through inspiring and imaginative storytelling.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in the 3D animation industry.
• Software Proficiency: Strong expertise in Autodesk Maya.
• Animation Skills: Proficiency in 3D hand-key animation, including character performance and lip-sync.
• Motion Capture: Prior experience in motion capture workflows and tools will be considered an asset.
• Communication: Ability to convey creative and technical ideas effectively and positively.
• Time Management: Multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Education: Degree or diploma in animation or equivalent will be considered an asset.
• Location: Must be a resident and eligible to work in Canada.

  Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

• Translate storyboards/animatics into dynamic and engaging animation sequences as directed.
• Complete assigned animations within the production schedule, meeting quality and style standards.
• Develop animation through blocking, refining, and polishing stages to achieve finalized results.
• Maintain animation quality, style, and continuity based on production guidelines and available resources.
• Stay updated on the latest animation techniques, tools, and technology.
• Foster a professional, collaborative, and positive work environment.
• Act as a creative and innovative contributor to the team.
