We are looking for a talented 3D Artist with a strong understanding of the gaming pipeline for Unity to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in 3D modeling, texturing, animation, and environment creation while ensuring optimal performance for WebGL applications. Experience in Unity level design and light baking is essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong knowledge of the gaming pipeline for Unity (modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation).
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling & texturing software (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Experience with Unity’s level design tools and light baking techniques.
  • Understanding of optimization techniques for WebGL, texture compression, and shader performance.
  • Familiarity with PBR workflows and real-time rendering.
  • Ability to create stylized and realistic environments while ensuring optimal performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Understanding of LOD systems and occlusion culling for performance optimization.
    Prior experience in VR/AR development is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for game environments and assets.
  • Develop optimized environments suitable for WebGL with efficient poly count and texture usage.
  • Implement assets in Unity, ensuring proper level design and scene setup.
  • Perform light baking in Unity for optimized performance and visual quality.
  • Ensure game assets follow best practices for performance optimization (e.g., LODs, texture atlasing, batching).
  • Work closely with developers and designers to ensure assets are seamlessly integrated into Unity.
  • Maintain visual consistency and adhere to the project’s artistic direction.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize 3D assets to improve FPS and rendering efficiency in WebGL.
