SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proven experience in SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software).
• Experience in sheet metal and structural steel design preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally in bespoke industrial solutions.
• Experience with acoustic enclosures, industrial machinery, or similar products is a plus.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for skilled 3D Designers and Drafts Persons to join a fast-paced engineering team specialising in industrial noise control and bespoke manufacturing solutions. You will play a key role in designing, modelling, and documenting products such as acoustic enclosures, barriers, and silencers for industrial and power generation environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – 3D DESIGNER:

• Take ownership of projects from design specification to fully detailed 3D models.
• Adjust and revise models to meet client requirements.
• Convert 3D models into comprehensive 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Produce BOMs, drawing registers, and fixings lists for manufacturing.
• Ensure designs adhere to drawing standards and manufacturing requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – DRAFTS PERSON:

• Convert fully defined 3D models into manufacturing-ready 2D drawings.
• Maintain accuracy, clarity, and compliance with drawing standards.
• Produce BOMs, drawing registers, and fixings lists.
• Support the design team in delivering high-quality outputs for production.
