3D Designer (Events Background) - Hiring in Beirut, Lebanon
Mira Search is hiring on behalf of their client, which is a group of three companies that work with events and exhibitions. They are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented 3D Designer with a proven background in the events and exhibition industry to join their team in Beirut, Lebanon. The ideal candidate will be a visionary who can transform conceptual ideas into stunning, photorealistic 3D visualizations and technical drawings, playing a key role in the success of their events.
Job Description:
The 3D Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and visualizing event spaces, exhibition stands, stage setups, and other decorative elements. This role requires a blend of artistic creativity and technical proficiency to produce compelling designs that are both visually impressive and logistically feasible. The 3D Designer will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements, develop innovative solutions, and ensure the final designs are ready for production and execution.
Responsibilities:
1) Conceptualization & Design:
- Interpret client briefs to develop creative and innovative 3D concepts for a wide range of events, exhibitions, and corporate activations.
- Create detailed 3D models of event spaces, stages, booths, and other elements, incorporating lighting, textures, and branding.
- Develop mood boards, sketches, and detailed presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
2) Technical Drawing & Production:
- Produce precise technical drawings, layout plans, and working drawings for production and fabrication teams.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure designs are technically accurate, structurally sound, and feasible within budget and timeline constraints.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure designs are implemented correctly and make on-the-spot adjustments as needed.
3) Project Management & Collaboration:
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision, gather feedback, and present design revisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and production techniques to bring fresh and modern ideas to projects.
- Oversee the graphic and printing needs for projects, ensuring all visuals are integrated seamlessly into the 3D design.
4) Software & Technology:
- Utilize industry-standard software to create high-quality renders and visuals.
- Optimize 3D models for performance and visual fidelity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a 3D Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in events, exhibitions, or a similar field.
- Expert-level proficiency in 3D design software is mandatory, including:*
Autodesk 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or similar.
Rendering engines such as V-Ray, Corona, or Lumion.
Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required.
- Strong ability to produce technical and working drawings, with proficiency in AutoCAD being a significant advantage.
- A keen eye for detail, strong artistic sensibility, and a deep understanding of design principles, color theory, and lighting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of materials, production processes, and fabrication techniques used in the events industry.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects is a plus.
