Job Description/Preferred Qualifications KLA is looking for experienced Mixed Reality developers to create innovative 3D experiences for training and for performance support. The successful candidate in this role will create 3D training that users will experience using any of the head mounted devices like Microsoft HoloLens, HTC VIVE, Oculus and other emerging devices and technologies. Responsibilities: Interpreting storyboards that describe maintenance procedures to design in order to craft innovative interactive 3D experiences. Collaborating with multi-functional teams to deliver innovation into MR training. Optimizing 3D CAD models to augment the efficiency of 3D holographic experiences. Designing and crafting innovative and interactive 3D experiences from storyboards. Planning and running development projects. Coordinating meetings with international interdisciplinary teams to ensure the timely progress and delivery of training experiences. Prioritizing work effort. Soliciting and applying feedback throughout the development process. Interacting with SMEs, IDs, fellow MRDs, Instructors and the Training Managers. Sending weekly status updates to manager and partners. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science /Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/3D Graphic Design or equivalent Experience using CAD and 3D animation applications. Experience with Interactive 3D/AR design Experience with any one of the following tools, or similar, is crucial PiXYZ Blender 3D Studio Max Maya Solidworks Microsoft 365 Guides Microsoft HoloLens or any other AR/VR goggles We offer a competitive, family friendly total rewards package.
