Location: This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in the United States, United Kingdom, and China.

JOB OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a skilled and imaginative 3D Digital Sculptor to join our creative team, with this opportunity open to candidates from junior through mid-level experience. In this role, you’ll transform 2D concepts into 3D sculpts using ZBrush – capturing everything from stylized characters to realistic forms, across both organic and hard-surface designs. You’ll collaborate with artists, designers, licensors, and production teams to ensure every sculpt comes to life.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ year of experience in a digital sculpting or 3D design; experience in consumer products, toys, or collectibles is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ZBrush is required; Keyshot Rendering experience preferred.
  • Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for supporting design and presentation needs.
  • Strong understanding of 2D and 3D design principles, with proven ability to transform 2D artwork into precise, production-ready 3D turnarounds.
  • Familiarity with mold-making and manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communicator and collaboration, adept at exchanging constructive feedback and presenting work confidently to licensors, stakeholders, and creative partners.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative, curious, and enthusiastic, with a collaborative spirit and willingness to share ideas.
  • Passion for pop culture and collectibles is a big plus!

Responsibilities
  • Sculpt 3D models in ZBrush, ensuring accurate form, silhouette, and detail across a variety of styles.
  • Translate 2D concept art into compelling 3D sculpts while maintaining the integrity of the original design.
  • Prepare and optimize files for prototyping, mold making, and manufacturing.
  • Collaborates with artists, designers, and cross-functional teams to maintain a consistent brand vision.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure seamless handoffs between pre-production, post-production, and manufacturing teams.
  • Prepare, arrange, and composite sculpts for compelling presentations, delivering them to internal teams, licensors, and partners for feedback and approval.
  • Partner with internal teams and department leads to prioritize, determine creative approaches, and meet production needs.
  • Provide direction on sculpt details, color callouts, and artwork applications for factory production.
  • Support prioritization of workload and contribute to team-wide creative processes.
