As a 3D Environment Artist you will be responsible for creating exceptional high quality and playable game environments and produce high-level quality 3D models. On this role, you will be expected to deliver world-class AAA visuals that complete the memorable and outstanding environments of our game worlds, considering narrative and visual storytelling. You will work in collaboration with passionate teams of Concept/Lighting/Texture Artists, Game and Level Designers to ensure that the high-quality standards are met. *Please, note that our Studio is based in Sofia and in terms of our hybrid model of work, working within the Bulgarian boundaries would be required. Your daily adventure LEVEL ART AND WORLD BUILDING Design, prototype and implement stunning game worlds and environments in tight collaboration with Level Designers, boosting the visual fidelity and story in the game 3D OBJECTS MODELING AND TEXTURING Create 3D assets and textures in line with the project's artistic and technical direction FOLLOW THE ARTISTIC DIRECTION Deliver your work in accordance with the project's artistic direction APPLY OPTIMIZATION Constant search to deliver your daily work with optimized and innovative approaches APPLY GRAPHIC PRINCIPLES EFFICIENTLY Search for best balance between aesthetic principles and the gameplay needs to achieve high-quality of the project UNDERSTAND AND IMPLEMENT THE DESIRED GAMEPLAY In the game levels BE FLEXIBLE And able to adapt to different artistic styles Qualifications Your skills KNOWLEDGE Experience in Autodesk 3ds Max/ Blender or equivalent software for game assets Very good knowledge of modeling and texturing tools Very good knowledge of modeling techniques, texture mapping and material creation Strong understanding of art fundamentals – composition rules, shape language, color theory TECHNICAL CONSTRAINTS INTEGRATION Ability to understand technical constraints and to integrate them when modeling TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS Ability to manage your own time and work within deadlines ADDRESS FEEDBACK Ability to iterate and build constructively based on others’ feedback STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE Demonstrate ambition to meet high standards ABILITY AND DESIRE TO WORK IN A CREATIVE INDUSTRY And collaborative environment GAME CULTURE Passion for games and strong game culture COMMUNICATION SKLLS Collaborate effectively with other team members Good level of English Advantages Previous experience in game development will be very appreciated* Drawing and sculpting skills are additional plus *Previous experience in game development or similar industry is a must for Senior level applicants.
