KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Outlook & Excel, Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PLM, and Corel
  • Proficient in 3D software CLO, Browzwear, or similar 3D design software
  • Strong garment construction, balance and fit, and pattern knowledge utilizing stretch and specialty fabrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team player
  • Must be highly motivated with excellent organizational skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Good time management skills with ability to set priorities
  • Understand end to end product development process from concept to delivery
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to change.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel/Technical Design
  • Minimum of 3+ years of tech design experience in athletic/fitness apparel or custom apparel

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. The ability to sit or stand for long periods through meetings and while operating office equipment, PC’s, laptop, telephone will be required.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Participate in physical & digital fittings with well-informed fit recommendations to ensure garments follow established fit, construction, and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional departments to execute design vision and fit intent.
  • Partner closely with Design and Product Development to initiate development specifications.
  • Creating accurate specifications packages including sketch construction details, base size specifications, and grading.
  • Manage tracking and measurement records to achieve development deadlines.
  • Responsible for keeping accurate, organized fit notes.
  • Execute virtual garment process from development to final fit.
  • Build and maintaining 3D block library.
