POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Account Manager to join our Operations Team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring that every shipment is handled with precision, clear communication, and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in 3PL operations and proven experience in customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous operations experience at a 3PL (third-party logistics provider) is required.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including TMS systems and Microsoft
  • Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, providing consistent communication and outstanding customer service.
  • Receive and process information from customers about their shipping needs.
  • Provide accurate quotes for shipments based on customer requirements.
  • Book shipments and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with Carrier Sales Representatives and Account Executives to ensure seamless service delivery and address any operational issues impacting clients.
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any issues that arise.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and shipment details.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships that promote trust, retention, and repeat business.
