The 3PL Inventory Control Coordinator support efforts of the Inventory Control department to maintain integrity of customer-owned product. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and assisting in order processing. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of inventory in forward pick locations, supporting the overall order fulfillment process, and resolving inventory-related issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Full time onsite role based out of our Charlestown, Indiana location Must be available to work the hours of 11:00 AM-7:30 PM Responsibilities Cycle count plan creation and review of results and escalating where appropriate based on tolerances, client expectations, activity and adherence to SOP’s Product and Pick Module maintenance including forward positioning of stock, transfer work, location assignment, capacity setup, & zoning Monitor stock rotation practices to ensure products are being utilized in the appropriate order (FEFO, FIFO) Comprehending units of measure Investigation & resolution of inventory discrepancies Provide regular reports to the Inventory Supervisor or Manager on inventory discrepancies and actions taken Adjustments and multi-step changes to inventory attributes within the system Processing inventory status changes Knowledge of the business rules, demands, and expectations of clients Daily communication with client representatives via emails, phone calls, and virtual meetings Effective and discreet (written and oral) communication with multiple departments Troubleshooting wave issues Order processing/order entry Order intercept/cancel requests The above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive. Qualifications MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education/Training: High School Diploma Business Experience: One year of experience in Inventory Control, preferably in a Distribution environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to analyze WMS processes Ability to extrapolate information from WMS Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Use of warehouse equipment, such as order pickers or pallet jacks, may be required (training provided) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Computer knowledge Experience with a WMS (will use multiple) PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Location of job activities 100% inside. Close vision is required for visual inspection of products for quality, such as checking for proper seal, adhesive, tears, or printing accuracy. Noise and / or vibrations exposure Reaching (overhead), handling, and feeling Stand, bend, stoop, and sit for prolonged periods of time Lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds Push/pull up 50 pounds Sufficient to operate standard office equipment Sufficient to operate material handling equipment Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Frequently required to stand or sit. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The expected base pay range for this position is $18-$20 per hour. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule. Responsibilities
