Description

Convergint is currently recruiting for a 3rd or 4th Year HVAC Apprentice to join our growing team in our Calgary location. As the HVAC Apprentice, you will be responsible for install of heating/air conditioning/refrigeration equipment and systems for the purpose of providing comfort and indoor air quality

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ of experience in HVAC is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the install of heating/air conditioning/refrigeration equipment and systems for the purpose of providing comfort and indoor air quality.
  • Assist with inspection of systems and their components (e.g. Roof Top units, Air Handling units, Make-Up Air units, exhaust fans, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring proper efficient operation of equipment.
  • Respond to service and warranty calls and repair failed components in a timely and efficient manner to support facility and tenant needs.
  • Prepare documentation (e.g. records of refrigerants, paperwork, logs, time and materials, specifications, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information to customer on work performed.
  • Execute all work in accordance with Provincial, local regulations, general best practices as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer’s first choice for service.
