Description POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of the Behavioral Health Technician is to assist in providing a safe environment for individuals. The BHT answers clients’ questions and assist in adjusting program routine, report any changes in the client’s physical or mental condition. The BHT is responsible for supervising clients during the program with emphasis on client safety and well being. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Ensure all clients are inside the home and accounted for by curfew. Complete headcounts and verify client presence throughout the shift. Maintain awareness of any overnight needs while clients sleep. Document any notable client behaviors, incidents, or concerns in shift notes. Provide basic support in the morning, including assisting with medication distribution as needed. Secure the home by conducting routine walkthroughs to ensure safety. Respond appropriately to any emergencies or client needs that arise.
