QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EPA Universal Certification (required)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in building or facility maintenance
  • Training or certification in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional demeanor and client-focused attitude
  • Experience in a high-tech, GMP, cleanroom, or controlled environment is a plus

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We’re seeking a hands-on, proactive Building Engineer to support facility operations at a major semiconductor manufacturing campus. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with HVAC systems, building automation, and general MEP maintenance in a highly technical environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on HVAC and MEP systems
  • Operate and monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) to maintain site performance
  • Troubleshoot and service boilers, chillers, and critical infrastructure
  • Support facility modifications, installations, and system upgrades
  • Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure system integrity
  • Maintain tools, documentation, and safety standards in line with company policies
  • Build strong working relationships with site leadership and key stakeholders
