🥇 Job Title: 3rd Shift Machine Operator - 2 Location: Albert Lea, MN Department: Production Employment Type: Full-Time Wage: $21.30 Reports To: Production Supervisor Schedule: Sunday–Thursdays; Start time is 10:00 PM year-round, with a varying end time. They will ensure products are packaged to Mrs. Gerry’s quality and safety standards. What You’ll Do As our 3rd Shift Machine Operator - 2, you’ll: * Learn and follow all MGK HACCP, SQF, SOP, and SSOP programs. * Always comply with all Food Safety procedures. * Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). * Set up, sanitize, wash down, and break down machinery per standard operating procedures. * Operate and monitor all machines for efficiency and proper operation. * Ensure all lids, containers and box labels represent the product being filled. * Ensure weight of each container of salad per product specifications. * Verify all dates and product names on product and boxes. * Utilize and adjust metal detectors. * Box and palletize products. * Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the Table * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. * Ability to read and comprehend documentation in English including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. * Utilize calculators to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to obtain forklift and/or pallet jack license. * Ability to lift and/or carry occasionally up to 40 pounds.
