ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN – 3RD SHIFT Industry Experience Required: Industrial Bakery & Tortilla Production  Pay Range: $30.75 – $33.25 per hour Schedule: * Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM * One additional day off during the week SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS The Electrical Technician ensures reliable operation of plant facilities, production machinery, and mechanical equipment. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations in accordance with diagrams, manuals, engineering specifications, and safety regulations. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES REGULATORY & SAFETY COMPLIANCE * Comply with all Plant, State, and Federal regulations including OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF. * Follow all quality assurance, food safety, and SQF procedures. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety rules and protocols. * Use required PPE and follow lockout/tagout procedures. MAINTENANCE & TROUBLESHOOTING * Ensure continuous operation of plant machinery and facility systems. * Reduce downtime by communicating preventive maintenance needs to production staff and monitoring compliance. * Complete weekly plant maintenance tasks and production down-day assignments; document all work in preventive maintenance records. * Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues by observing equipment, listening for irregularities, and using precision measuring/testing instruments. * Remove, repair, or replace defective parts; dismantle and reassemble machinery as needed. * Determine dimensional requirements using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. * Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment. REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS * Perform routine and emergency service on industrial Ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems. TECHNICAL SUPPORT & TRAINING * Share technical knowledge and assist in training new employees. * Maintain technical expertise by attending workshops and training sessions. INVENTORY & DOCUMENTATION * Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies by monitoring stock levels and reporting needs. * Ensure all maintenance activities are properly recorded and compliant with quality and safety standards.
