Core hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11pm to 7:30am. Starting wage ranges from $26 to $36 an hour, dependent upon level of experience. The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following skills/experience: Performance of preventive maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery. Ability to respond to and correct equipment stoppage and/or mechanical breakdowns. Troubleshooting, repair and/or replacement of worn and/or defective parts, motors, control devices. Troubleshooting and repair of PLC's. Troubleshooting and repair of both hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Welding and fabrication of various materials, as needed. Ability to repair basic electrical components. Troubleshooting and repair of all types of control circuits. Ability to run conduit and pull wire during new installations and/or relocation of existing equipment. Adherence to all safety requirements, including lockout tagout procedures. Adherence to 5S standards to reduce inefficiencies and the risk of safety hazards. Please apply online. No phone calls or walk ins. NPR of America, INC is an EOE. Qualifications Education: HS Diploma or GED Associates degree in a related technical field or the equivalent of 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery, respond to equipment stoppages, and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns. They will also be responsible for repairing and replacing worn or defective parts and ensuring adherence to safety requirements.
