Regular quarterly raises from 3 months until top out pay of $32.84 is reached in 2.5 years. 3rd shift hours are 8:15 pm – 6:45 am M-Th (some overtime on Friday) After 90 days you will be eligible for benefits: · Health/Dental/Vision Insurance · Flexible Spending Account · Life Insurance · 401(k) · 401(k) Matching · Paid Time Off GENERAL SUMMARY Ensure flow of materials through the Company in order to meet the established production schedule. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS Operate Forklift safely Pull items by hand and load onto carts for each weld booth Keep weld booths loaded with daily work materials Move completed product away from weld booths and to the storage area Keep material stage for both Welding and Saw Department WORKING CONDITIONS Manufacturing facility/ warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Non-temperature regulated facility. Constant material transport via fork lift throughout facility. 10-hour work days – 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday). Mandatory overtime depending on operation schedule. Work alone or with other co-workers. Steady pace with set productivity goals to be met each day. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Constant standing, bending, and stooping. Frequent reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling. Exerting 50 lbs to 60 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 20 lbs to 50 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects. Pushing carts loaded with material to staging areas MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT Fork Lift Personal Protective Equipment Safety Toed Shoes Required Requirements SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Material Handling experience preferred but not required Must be self-driven and have the ability to work at a quick, but safe pace for the entirety of the shift. Able to read standard tape measure. Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations. Strong mechanical aptitude. High School Diploma or GED Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment a plus
