Regular quarterly raises from 3 months until top out pay of $32.84 is reached in 2.5 years. 3rd shift hours are 8:15 pm – 6:45 am M-Th (some overtime on Friday) After 90 days you will be eligible for benefits: · Health/Dental/Vision Insurance · Flexible Spending Account · Life Insurance · 401(k) · 401(k) Matching · Paid Time Off GENERAL SUMMARY Performs in-process Inspection (First and Last Piece), Material Receiving Inspection, Final Inspection, and Process Audits. Verifies compliance to company quality procedures and policies. Calibrates company inspection equipment. Completes reports and keeps logs, both on paper and with a computer. Position requires a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy in measurement. Performance is time critical and is very fast paced. Position requires employee to perform and complete tasks with minimal supervision in a manufacturing environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS Interpret standard production drawings and job specifications. Perform visual and dimensional weld inspection. Perform visual and adhesion inspection of product coatings/finishes. Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications. Communicate properly with all company associates utilizing team-oriented approach to quality with the ability to promote the company’s quality policies and philosophies in a professional manner, without alienating associates. Detect and notify supervisor of faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials. Perform all tasks in accordance with safety including proper use of PPE as required. Willing to adjust shift work hours to assure department representation on all work shifts Ensure that the company’s policies and procedures are compliant to current ISO standards WORKING CONDITIONS Manufacturing facility/ warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Non-temperature regulated facility. Constant material transport via fork lift moving throughout facility. Overhead crane in operation within department. 10-hour work days – 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday). Mandatory overtime depending on operation schedule. Work alone or with other co-workers. Steady pace with set productivity goals to be met each day. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Constant standing, bending, and stooping. Constant reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling. Exerting 50 lbs to 80 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 20 lbs to 50 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects. Frequent precisely coordinated movements of the fingers and hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects. MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT Scanner Various Inspection Equipment (including but not limited to) Calipers Protractor Micrometer Steel Rule Combination Square Gage Blocks / Gage Pins Thread Gage Tape Measure (to 1/64th) Standard Measuring Tape Other Various Hand and Measuring Tools Power tools, and hand tools Personal Protective Equipment Requirements SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Minimum of two-years’ experience working with ISO 9001 in a Quality role preferred. Able to read standard tape measure to 1/64th of an inch. Read and write legibly using U.S. English language. Read, write, and perform math calculations, including decimal and fractional conversions. Possess thorough understanding and knowledge of company products, both in use and functionality. Understand ISO quality standards and company ISO procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude. High School Diploma or GED
