Description Home Run Inn is looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our 3rd Shift Sanitation Technician Team! This is to work at our Frozen Pizza Production Factory. Job Summary: As a Sanitation Worker, you will be trained on the proper techniques of cleaning production equipment, machines and work areas of our food manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, chemical concentrations, and handling and storing the chemicals. The sanitation team is expected to report any potential contamination issues and any safety concerns that may arise as part of the sanitation process. Shift Details: 3rd Shift. 7:30pm-4:00am Must be flexible to work weekends as needed. $21/hr.- Direct Hire Job. $1/hr. shift different for working 3rd shift as well. This is to work in a Fast Paced, Food Production Plant. Must be comfortable working in cold environment. We make frozen pizzas! Responsibilities: Supports and promotes a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements and reinforcing safe behaviors across the team. Fulfills responsibilities as outlined in the company safety program, complying with all safety and GMP requirements. Perform daily sanitation of all processing lines Cleans, sanitizes, production lines and ingredients rooms, hallways Dispose of waste in common areas Use Chemicals, Foam, Chlorine, quat Sanitizer, de-greaser, Use a high-water pressure gun for 5-7 hours Use squeeze to dry the floor and move conveyors or tables as need it. Must be physically capable of working extended hours if needed and in a wet environment, standing for long periods of time, and operating processing equipment Maintain cleanliness of breakroom and test kitchen appliances Use liners to cover motors, gearboxes and E-stops as need it Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups. Reading chemical labels or Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to learn how to properly handle chemicals they will be using Must learn how to operate the scissor lift and certify Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and lift to 50lbs for extended periods. Able to Speak, Read, and Understand English. Must be a self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision. Has impeccable organizational skills and be detailed oriented Must be able to stand, sit, walk, reach and stop for the duration of an 8-hour shift with applicable breaks Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including off shifts and weekends. Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments for extended periods of time (cold or warm). Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work Ability to train, maintain and promote a safe work environment. Responsibilities
The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for the proper cleaning and sanitizing of all production equipment, lines, and work areas within the food manufacturing facility, including handling and preparing various cleaning chemicals and sanitizers. They must also actively report any potential contamination or safety concerns arising during the sanitation process while promoting a strong culture of safety.
